I'm Canes Etienne, a wedding & lifestyle photographer based in South Florida, where I was born and raised. My interests span from basketball and football to technology and cars.
Growing up as a Haitian-American has had its challenges, but with God's grace and blessings, I've found my path. My hidden passion for photography emerged as I began creating short videos and conducting mini photo sessions with my iPhone 11 Pro. Inspired by the work of talented photographers like Photos by Reem, Love Stories by Smitty, Nativ Lens, and Talilly Photography, I honed my craft.
Photography, for me, is about bringing visions to life with a unique touch and capturing unforgettable moments. My wife and sister, my biggest supporters, recognized my passion early on. On my 25th birthday, my fiancée who is now my wife made a heartfelt investment, purchasing my first camera, a Canon 6D Mark II. This generous act set my journey into motion, leading to the establishment of Candid Photography by Canes.
